Gear Update – Athlon Optics, Ares BTR 4.5-27×50 FFP Mil

I’m considering to try this optic on my .308.
But my question on this post is:
What brand (and model) is the Bipod, you are using on this rifle?
Because mine looks EXATLY the same, but the legs are wobbling like hell.
Is it the same with your’s?

Roger – thanks for writing us with your question. The model Steve is using on that particular rifle is a Atlas BT10-LW17 V8 Bipod. This product was purchased directly from Accu-Shot, the manufacturer’s website. Your bipod is very likely a counterfeit which would have sub-par performance compared to the real deal. Just do a google search for “Atlas Bipod Counterfeit” and you will see that there are numerous buyers and even distributors or web retailers (e.g. Amazon) that are getting fooled into buying these because they look legit but dont’ perform like the real thing.
