Tips & Techniques, Bench Source Annealing Machine

After watching our annealing video, viewers provided helpful feedback for saving time and improving the consistency of setting up the Bench Source annealing machine.
Here’s what we learned from our viewers:
- Torch height on the Bench Source machine can be set by stacking washers. Using this technique, you can create a reference card indicating the number of washers required for a particular cartridge. Others have suggested using tubing instead of washers to accomplish the same thing.
- Make sure the torches are level as this allows for a more repeatable setup. When the torches are level it is easy to eyeball where the flame will hit on the cartridge case.

Where did you guys get the y-fitting for the propane, the propane hoses and the nice torch ends? Great website too!!!
David.
David,
There are many alternatives out there. Here is what I purchased for my Bench Source:
Propane Distribution Post Y-Adaptor
Two Hoses
You will also need to get a couple of pencil tip torch burners.
Who made the hoses ( model number) and where did you get them, real nice job you two do!
Thanks for watching. Here’s the “T” adapter: http://www.amazon.com/Camco-59893-Propane-Adapter-Handwheel/dp/B007HG7VWU/ref=pd_sbs_sg_7?ie=UTF8&refRID=0VQJ3S70378X894BE69P
We also ordered two of these hoses: http://www.amazon.com/Stansport-Propane-Appliance-Distribution-10-Feet/dp/B002R5YO7G/ref=sr_1_7?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1392649427&sr=1-7&keywords=propane+distribution+tree
Coleman also offers “T” adapter and hoses which you can actually find at Dicks, REI, WalMart, etc.
